About CBM
The position is a position with 40h/week.
This position is only filled locally. With contractual conditions of DRC. An expatriation is not intended.
These are your responsibilities
-
To provide overall management of the GFFO Project and leadership throughout project implementation. -
Coordinate the implementation of activities by partner NGOs. -
Ensure that results are achieved in line with objectives. -
Represent the GFFO project at various coordination meetings (clusters, working groups, humanitarian coordination, etc). -
Organise project coordination meetings with all stakeholders. -
Ensure CBM's leadership role within the consortium of implementing partners. -
Ensure that activities are implemented according to the initial plan. -
Ensure that indicators are properly implemented and monitored. -
Ensure that the timetable of activities is respected. -
Ensure that the indicator monitoring report is properly completed. -
Facilitate the networking of project partners. -
Facilitate the integration of the project into local, national, regional and international platforms. -
Ensure compliance with the partnership contract. -
Maintain good relations with partners. -
Provide advice to the partner if necessary.
These are your qualifications
-
Relevant university degree (Bac+5) or additional qualification (Master) in an appropriate field: international development, sociology, Psychology, Law, medicine, project management, etc. -
Experience in project design, monitoring, review and evaluation and the application of this information to improve program quality. -
Experience in evaluating and strengthening quality and efficiency systems. -
Knowledge and application of basic research methodologies, both quantitative and qualitative. -
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong cross-cultural professional relationships. -
Experience working with people with disabilities and in the Inclusive Disability Development sector is a significant advantage. -
Excellent personal and public communication and negotiation skills with all types and levels of stakeholders. -
Good training and/or mentoring skills, both individual and group. -
Very good understanding of monitoring, reporting and evaluation principles. -
Understanding of all widely followed programming principles and priorities. -
Understanding of CBM's programming and budgeting system and procedures, including reporting (PPR), will be an asset. -
Good people management and interpersonal skills, strategic thinker. -
Ability to take initiative, multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. -
Ability to conduct research, analyze data and make recommendations. -
Ability to foster teamwork with cross-cultural competence and sensitivity. -
Good organizational and coordination skills as well as a high level of autonomy and flexibility. -
Willingness to travel and work long hours if necessary. -
Willingness to commit and adhere to CBM's values and child Safeguarding policy. -
English language (professional proficiency). -
Local/regional language (professional proficiency advantageous).
