About CBM
To reinforce our Cameroon Country Office team, we are looking for OPD Humanitarian Program Intern .
The position is a position with 40h/week.
This position is only filled locally. With contractual conditions of Cameroon. An expatriation is not intended.
These are your responsibilities

Support external activities by carrying out evaluations, drafting terms of reference (ToR), and make recommendations for decision-making. -
Contribute to the consolidation of the Leave No One Behind 4 detailed Implementation plans for Platform Inclusive Society for Persons with Disabilities ( Yaounde) and the Coordinating Unit of Associations of Persons with Disabilities ( Bamenda). -
Assist the project coordinator with implementing activities in the field. -
Assist in scheduling external activities and evaluations, including ToRs development and evaluation coordination. -
Support the Humanitarian team in the coordination of humanitarian programmes in close co-operation with OPDs. -
Work with the Humanitarian team to ensure documentation of Leave No One Behind 4 project Learnings and outcomes. -
Support in monitoring humanitarian project progress, priorities, and deadlines. -
Support in arranging logistics for trips, meetings, evaluations, and learning events at the office and field among partners and humanitarian organisations when required.
These are your qualifications

0-1 year of verifiable experience in a similar role or in an office environment. Any verifiable prior experience in an INGO is of added advantage. -
Solid organisational skills and attention to details. -
An effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. -
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills. -
Ability to prioritise work, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. -
Meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness. -
Ability to perform all tasks and handle information in a confidential manner. -
English or French professional proficiency -
Computer literacy and competencies in MS Office package, particularly with Excel, Word and PowerPoint. -
Willingness to commit and adhere to CBM’s values and Child Safeguarding Policies. -
Some knowledge of data management software.
